Covenant Wealth Advisors Named a 2026 Richmond BizSense RVA 25 Finalist

Covenant Wealth Advisors has been named a finalist for the RVA 25 Class of 2026. The RVA 25 is Richmond BizSense’s annual list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Richmond region, and Keiter is the presenting sponsor.
Final rankings will be announced on November 9 at the Science Museum of Virginia.
We’re grateful particularly because Covenant Wealth Advisors has roots in Richmond, VA and we know how many great companies there are in the area. We could not be here without the trust from our clients and the hard work for our team in Richmond, Reston, and Williamsburg, VA.
We also want to be clear about what this recognition means and what it doesn’t.
What the RVA 25 measures
The RVA 25 ranks companies by their average yearly revenue growth from 2023 through 2025. Keiter collects and tabulates the financial data confidentially. To qualify, a company must be privately held, based in the Richmond region, in business for at least three full years, and earning more than $500,000 a year in revenue.
In plain terms, it measures how fast our business grew. It does not measure investment returns, the quality of anyone’s retirement plan, or how satisfied our clients are.
Why we’re pointing that out
You will see a lot of awards in the financial advice industry. Some are based on objective data. Some come from surveys. Some require the firm to pay to apply or to use the award in its marketing. When you’re choosing someone to manage your retirement, it pays to know which kind you’re looking at.
Four questions get you most of the way there:
Who gave the award, and is rating companies something they regularly do?
What did it measure: business growth, assets, survey answers, or something else?
What time period does it cover?
Did the firm pay anything to apply, attend, or advertise the award?
Here are our answers for the RVA 25. It was given by Richmond BizSense and Keiter. It measures revenue growth from 2023 through 2025. We paid no fee to apply.
What hasn’t changed
Since 2010, our work has stayed the same. We do retirement income planning, tax planning, and investment management for retirees and pre-retirees, all coordinated by one team as a fee-only fiduciary. We generally don’t do one-off projects or hourly work, because we believe planning works best when all the pieces are managed together.
Congratulations to the other finalists, and thank you to our clients and our team.
